BK16 Question

Not really. There is nothing functionally wrong with it, its all aesthetics. For that , I can't find fault in Kabar's decision. I kinda figured what they said, thats why I offered what I did. I don't care if the tips off some, and if I do for some reason, I have others to play with.

ESEE's NQA warranty is awesome, but you should hear some of the stories Jeff and Mike tell about the dbags that call in wanting a new knife. The NQA warranty originally started to cover guys that broke their knife while USING it. Now, its turned into a circus of blowtorches and bandsaws.

I owned an esee4 which I let go, that thing is great but like you guys have stated, the price and the quality of the bk is hard to beat
Thanks Moose, I already sent you an email.

That's too bad with the esee stuff. People are always trying to ruin things for everyone else. I like the beckers and decided to get the bk16 regardless of any warranty issues. I have yet to return a knife for any problems. Well other than my 1st production hest folder that I had.

The bk16 is nice, I made some spacers for it and it fits better. I like the fact that the spine is a lot sharper than the one from the esee knives, it throws nice sparks when I use it with my firesteel.
Thanks guys. Case closed.
