Hey guys, ok, so I am in the process of rehandling my BK16 with homegrown burlap micarta. So... to the pics!

I can't wait to see the end product. I have some burlap I am going to use as soon as I have time.
 
That burlap is going to be sweeet! How long did it have to set in the press? Seems like it would be quicker setting than denim. Also, High 5 to a fellow Lower Alabama guy. Where abouts are you?

It only took about 12 hours to set up and NO WAY!!!! Im in Enterprise! We should meet up and have coffee or just cut stuff sometime! lol.
 
I like micarta...but dont know if I wanna do my 16. I bought it for a game-knife, not sure how well Micarta and Blood mix LOL

the blood will stain it, and if you clean fish or guts, it will begin to smell. i would advise G10 or leaving the zytel.

thats what I was assuming. Time to stipple the zytel




G10....never worked in that, perhaps I should look into that, I know G10 looks great on knives. :)

that burlap texture is fantastic! great great job man!
