As if I needed more proof that Dynamicmoves AKA Boyfriend was the sweetest badass around, he surprises me yet again! With a BK17! On the last morning of the Beckerhead Gathering, he told me he had traded his Remmington shotgun barrel for something, but did not mention what. When we got back down to the shop, Mr. Becker handed me a brand new BK17 and informed me that boyfriend had traded his barrel to him for it. I could have cried! He knew that I had been trying to come up with the spare cash for a 17 for MONTHS and this random, unexpected gift was the perfect end to an incredible weekend. I am one lucky gal, that's for sure. I am now working on stripping the coating and creating a badass patina! Pictures shall come!

This is the first roll stamped 17 I've ever seen. I love my 17 personally and THAT is an awesome gift!
 
Not an ordinary 17. That's a roll stamped and un-engraved (un-signed) version. Those are relatively rare. Congrats.

So that's why he was as excited as I saw him all weekend about that trade :D . Have fun, the 17 is an excellent blade indeed!
 
I also got a 16 in the trade.

I like the 17 alot. I gave mine to my dad because he didnt have a single good knife. I think i might need another one..lol.
