BK2 arrived...

The one I got a couple of weeks ago also has a slight bend, and an uneven grind at the tip, but not the edge. The edge itself seems even. I debated sending it back, but considering the thing is built like a tank, I'm not worried that the imperfections will cause problems. Besides, it'll give me a better reason to justify a Ritter MK2...:)

I too am indifferent to slight imperfection in the blade. I've never had a penchant for precision anyway, and IMO is irrelevant in the field. I'll probably end up bending the thing anyway, so what's the point of worrying :D

I could live with an odd imperfection too if it was a cheapo knife, but in the UK those run about 150 US dollars :P

not cheap to me :)

I didn't think anyone would want more photos of a BK2---but since you insist. :)

Thats a great looking knife, and a nice job on the pictures

Yes photos are a must lol. Nice score.
I just ordered one last night with the "polyester" sheath. The BK22.
I will post it up with pics of course. Showing the new sheath with it as well. I will be making a kydex sheath for it as well but I really prefer the nylon sheath over the injection molded sheath.

I am sorry that I already have an Ontario RTAK II so I can't really justify buying a BK9.

I bought an RTAK II because CRKS was selling a "used" one for about $20 less than a new one was going for. For all intents and purposes it was new really. I still prefer my BK9. The balance is better because the handle on the becker is skeletonized where as the RTAK II is solid. Both great knives. Trying to decide if I want to sell my Rtak or drill out the handle to shift the balance.
