Bk2 Campanion companion?

Don't like the way it looks or how it fits/feel? You need a large hand for a Model 20.

Glocks make me have to tilt my wrist to shoot straight. I use a Springfield XD9. If you just hold your arm out and point at something, that's how the gun fits in your hand, very naturally. Its very easy for anyone to pick one up and hit the target. Not trying to start a which-is-better thing....I like knives more. Just sayin'

Honestly, I see the BK2 as more of a blacked out S&W in .357 or .44 magnum. They are serious, heavy, built for trouble, practically proof against malfunction and inspire serious quantities of awe.

Tough to carve a fork with a S&W though.

What a pleasure it is to have one's knives compared favorably to the two finest fighting pistols in the known universe.....Thank You, Thank You !!!!!!......

I own both, love both and absolutely will not get in the middle on this one.....

What THE MAN said. They are two of the finest fighting pistols that have ever been made, IMO. Either could be a companion to the BK-2.

As for grip angles, from what I can gather, in the 1920's, the 1911 mainspring housing was upgraded (IMNSHO) to the proper, arched mainspring housing, which has since gone largely back out of vogue. But the arched MSH and the Glock put the hand and wrist bones in the proper alignment to best receive the recoil generated by firing the pistol. Additionally, the arched MSH tends to force the hand into a higher grip, which is also better for recoil absorption. Both the Glock angle, and the 1911 with the arched MSH, align the hand and wrist bones similar to the alignment found in the hand/wrist bones in a proper punch, I believe. Finally, the arched MSH and the Glock grip angle are very close, although not exact, so that i can transition more easily back and forth, according to my needs of the day, with just the thumb safety being the one issue than can muck up the works.

Either one, looks equally good. Add a 2 day pistol course at front site, saurez or thunder ranch and either one would be way sexy.
