If I am to believe those are your first attempt, the the second attempt should include an orange name for you and some of those for my 2 as well.

Looks good. Did you oil them ?

The stabilized wood does not need oil to seal the grain. I just sanded with finer and finer grit. Started out at 80 grit and finished with 1500 grit and 00 steel wool.

I got the wood on ebay. I thought the site had decent pricing and selection. I think the blanks were 1 7/8 X 6 1/4 X 3/8.
