bk2 leather sheath second attempt. I need some ideas from you sheath makers.

Sorry it took me this long but I've been crazy busy at work and home. Big shout out to skygnome (skystorm) for giving me permission to duplicate his skystorm leather edc pouch.

Thank you Lethal289, I don't know all the names yet but I do use this tool to treat the edges and I apply Edge kote. I'm still learning but I enjoy it a lot. The bk2 is a heck of a knife! Next thing I will do is to get micarta scales for it.

Skip the edge kote. After you bevel the edges use a very tight knit rag + index finger and black dye. Then when you wax and burnish the edges they will come out baby smooth. Edging takes some practice and patience. Waiting to see what you come up with next

I do have a bevel tool but I need a lotta practice before my edge work comes out looking half descent! I tried it on a dangler attachment for my bk2 sheath and it looks weird. I'll show you as soon as I get a chance.
Thanks a ton for the tip!

Thanks for the pics of the pouch. Looks great Martin. Did you do it in two pieces? Not counting the straps.

The pouch itself is just one square of leather folded but it has a little piece of leather on the back where the firesteel loop is mounted. The only reason is the fact that I my hole puncher couldn't reach all the way to the middle of it.
