BK2 Leather Sheath?

Anybody wanna point me in the direction of a decently priced well made beefy leather sheath for a BK2 that allows for lots of available handle for a quick draw?

Here's mine in an Armorall Leather sheath, from Two Wolves OUtdoors, it's made for the ESEE 5. It's a bit tight, the edge is cutting into the inside of the sheath, but less than 1/32" deep. I can't even see the cut! It goes in easier now, and is more snug than the ESEE5, the ESEE 5 rattles a bit in the same sheath. My BK-2 has flat scales, so I can't say if the contours of the standard grivory may not fit the same? I just don't know.

Some fella here made this one. Not sure who it was, but he sucks at leather work, that's for sure.

Yeah your right moose, that sheath is horrendous! I'll send you an address to send it to for proper disposal ;)

Moose what color do you use? I'm using Mahogany on mine, and that's what it looks like on yours.

I don't know if I'm allowed to say, but I dabble a little bit.

I am still waiting on this one to make its way home to me, but at least I got an ETA now. It'll be here on Monday, the 23rd. Can't tell from the picture, but I *think* I'm gonna like it!

Really nice looking stuff guys! I'm thinking more and more I wanna try my hand at sheath making, I'm always looking for a new hobby!

BluesStringer Where are you getting that beautiful piece from ?!? I am also looking for a sheath maker to make one for my bk2. can you point me in the right direction? If ya dont mind can you give me a ballpark on the cost?

I got mine from some guy on here too. Looks vaguely familiar...hmmm...

Beefy doesn't begin to describe it either. Following nuclear holocaust, there will be cockroaches, twinkies, and my BK2 sheath.

If I'm not mistaken, that is a work by Michael Volclae. It has a kydex liner for retention. Pretty neat stuff!

MikeyJ, that is a pretty nice sheath. I like the simplicity. Very rustic. Hmm, if this person starts taking orders again I might have to pick one up.

Well, that person never stopped, just extended his delivery time. :D

Here is a custom I bought but do not know the maker. Maybe it will give you some ideas if you have one made.

Here is one made by Savage sheaths. For the price his work is excellent.

You might also consider this guy: Goose_52

He does some cool looking stuff if you are into leather, and has some designs underway that are pretty insane. Here is what he has been working on designing: Modular Leather Becker Sheaths

I know this guy in Utah that works with leather and has made a few sheaths for the BK2:

More pictures can be seen in his Gallery. And I hear talk that he will be getting his own BK2 soon to do more.
