https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
For the guys that are making their own sheaths what leather works best for you? I have some spare leather strips and figured might as well make a nice leather sheath.
I use a 9-10oz shoulder. Good leather, tough, and workable. Right now, I'm stuck with some 13oz shoulder, and the stitch at the mouth is almost 3/4". Hard to stitch it, but I get it done.
Moose
That 13oz is some tough stuff! I'm still diggin' mine, Moose! Get compliments on it all the time!
I use 10-12oz Saddle skirting from Wicket & Craig. You have to buy a side at a time, but the price per square foot is pretty good. Most of the time I buy my sides Pre-dyed either brown or Chestnut which costs a little more but saves a ton of time!
If that's what you used on my FB Machete sheath Heber, then it's good stuff for sure! I also get lottsa compliments on that one too!!![]()
Hey Moose!
Will my M1 be done in the 13oz leather? Hope so!
Can't wait to get it.
