BK2 review

I have one sitting in a cart right now on a site waiting for checkout.

Off to check your review!

Thanks.

Edited to add - Nice review and pics. I was going to buy it anyway, but now I'm off to click and finish the purchase. Thanks.

I've been wanting one of those for a long time, I think after christmas I may have to pull the trigger. I normally get excited about more 'elegant' field blades that are capable of fine work, but it's hard to ignore such a brute.

great review and pics cody... those BK's are cool.. i have always liked em'..

Great review Chris, :)

…this line of Becker knives from KaBar have really attracted my interest.

Your review has only added fuel to the fire.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear what a savage chopper it is; very impressive for a sub six inch knife.

Very good review. Basically an indestructible knife. Still, in this length it is too thick for me. I think the BK-9's look absolutely impeccable and I think they are also thinner than this guy!

I have one of these, allbeit one of the older models. It is an excellent knife that can do much of what a larger one can.

Thanks for the great review. I think I have the Becker Necker under the tree:D Not sure but I think so. I had a BK10 & BK7 last year & traded them both off :( Didn't know what I had until they were gone Oh well , Live & Learn I guess.

Thanks Fellas, it was a blast bustin stuff up. I was impressed that it cut as well as it does, considering the .25" stock. I usually carry 1/8" blade, but this baby feels so capable. I don't think I could break it. With it's length to thickness ratio, it would be hard to do. I think sometimes You just gotta have it. :D

I have two of the Camillus BK7s that I was able to find - the tan and the black.

I know I have a new KaBar BK9 coming for Christmas and I just ordered the BK2 so I will be able to directly compare.

I thought cody1's review was good. Can't wait to see this up close.

man that review made me go out and pull the trigger as well.... hehehe but have been wanting one for a long time....

Great review! Looks like fun. I have one of the older ones made by the previous company before Camillus. It's still new in box and has a light colored blade. Does anyone know who made it? Was it Blackjack or Marbles maybe? I can't remember. I need to get it out and sell it but don't even know who to list as maker or what it's worth. I have a nib machete too. Had a Brute that I carried on a 4 wheeler for a long time and when I sold the 4 wheeler the guy demanded that the knife stay! I was never able to get another so put a RTAK on the new one. Good for lighter stuff but nothing compared to the Brute for shear chopping ability.
