BK2 setup

A for effort...

But I am not a big fan of so many moving parts, thickness and condensation issues over the long haul. As a piece of trial kit, would be cool to take this into the bush for a month just to see how it holds up. 9 screws to keep track of though doesn't sound like something I would carry, looks great though.

super sweet job :) i love that box! i love you man! in a manly box like fashion...

I hear ya. Only really adds two screws though to the standard setup, but I get it. Kinda noticing a trend, you don't seem to like most of the things I do. Different strokes I guess.

Thanks Bladdy. I appreciate it.

Very very cool.

When will you be upgrading to exploding bolts?

Just a quick update, I had gone with snaps (two sets actually) to try and see how they would work. They were nice, but honestly I much preferred the velcro. I will be tracking down some of that heavy duty super velcro to put on some straps here shortly, but for now, I think the regular heavy duty stuff will work. For now at least, and it is pretty easy to replace anyways. Mist, I might try the side release buckles after all and at least see how they work out.

Seriously tacticool setup. You are a talented guy. Oh...the Jeep sold on Craigslist. I'll email the details.
