Newb question,

I just recently bought a Kevin onion belt sharpener and a bk2. I also have some kershaw folders and a ZT. Question is, I don't feel I get a razor edge with the belt sharpener. Is there a leather strop or diamond stick that is recommended to get the final edge on the blade?

Welcome to Bladeforums.
Sharpening threads belong in the MTE section, not in General. Knife discussion.

Yes, i would recommend reading around, articles such as these, and watching a lot of youtube videos so you grasp the concept... and be very careful on powered equipment being new. On the KO WS there is a tendancy to

1. over heat blades and damage temper
2. round tips off
3. remove too much metal
