BK2 testing (Seriously???)

I seriously just ran over it.. Just felt like doing something stupid, so I ran over my BK2.. I wanted to test the strength of the Grivory. Some material, under intense stress, will split, crack, and break apart. I have had this thing for a few now and I have baton'd, chopped, cut, threw it, stabbed with it, pried, dropped it off the roof, and now ran over it.. Somebody should put a NSN on this thing and send it across the sea.. There's a popular testing thread running around here:

Running over it wasn't anything too harsh, but I never had a knife that I felt safe linking a bridge with.

Hmm..

Just a few little duphus and n00b tests. :D:thumbup::foot:

LOL. Prob wouldn't run over any of my knives but interesting regardless. I am more impressed that the sheath held up. I know the knife is a tank.

I was gonna suggest burying it 7" deep, tip up & trying it again!:D

Nice to see the sheath didn't crack.

I'm surprised the sheath stood up as well. I am going to test it as soon as the sprinkling stops!

haha I'll leave that test to somebody else!

Actually, I'm glad the tires ok! I mean, you DID just run over a BK2! Those things have been known to wreck trains!!

I was worried about the sheath popping apart and the knife taking a bite into the tire. All together, the knife in all stood together extremely well!

It's certainly one hell of a knife. Well, bridge link, train wrecker, pry bar, jack stand, etc.

If I remember hearing correctly, the 2 is NSN'd already. I think there are 2 BK's with NSN's.

So let me get this straight.....You read through both of BRab's BK2 destruction/resurrection posts, and found they didn't adequately test the beast, so you ran over it, and now you're satisfied? LOL!

J/K man. Those two linked threads are legendary though. I've posted links to them on every other forum I visit regularly, and I bet I've sold as many BK2s that way as most dealers. Torture tests are fun, ain't they?

Hello everybody. Been on sabbatical for awhile. Some new faces (screen names) and new mods I see. Congrats X's 2.

See y'all 'round.

I didn't know if they did have one or not!

I found them completely adequate! I just wanted to make one more ridiculous test! Bwahaha(evil laugh)

Just think if you could have a BK2 in 154CM or D2!! I think the world would stop turning!

Maybe you should try this with a bigger scale vehicle .

Something like this ?

:D

If I owned one, I would try it. If a BK2 can tip a train, might break the tracks apart on it.. haha

Used to be a "scalloped" 7 and "scalloped" 2 when Camillus was still around...
I think it's the 2 and 3 now. Not sure if the 7 has an NSN or not.
Thanks for doing the test, I was just wondering about the strength of the Grivory.
in other news, mmmm... The Crawler.
