BK2 - you guys were right.

In my experience, the knife you have on you, when you need one, is far better than the 50 you have at home, when you need one. Either of the blades you have pictured, would serve you incredibly well. Just be sure to have one on you, when you need one.

Why are you talking singular? Doesn't everyone have three or more knives on them at any given time?

I do. I always have the SAK in my pocket, folder(currently JYD) clipped to the pocket and a fixed blade in the EDC backpack - varies between ESEE 4, BK16, Ontario AFGHAN, or BK2.

Thats a great collection you ahve all your bases covered. Anything else would be superfluous to say the least

Thank you for the kind words.

I might have to get one of the smaller Beckers. It's going to be hard to fight the temptation at the very least.

Well what you lack in quantity you at least offset in quality and that's more important.

I've tried to find the good values at least, but the Becker is certainly the most expensive purchase. It's going to be a while before I can shell out for a Bark River or Chris Reeve....

Get a 14 next, it is a great small knife, I have been carrying it for a couple weeks now and love it.

I havent had any problems with the stock sheath, I did add the tek lok, esee accessory pouch and the wire clamps for the ferro rod

I am sure crk and brk are good knives, but so are beckers (and i guarantee the custmr service is far better with becker/kabar) i personally would rather buy a 2, 9 and 11 (or some other BK combo) instead of one crk or brk

I have a crap-ton of knives, most expensive one cost $100. You don't have to spend a whole bunch of money to get a solid knife. I'm sure BRK and those are terrific knives but I'm way too cheap for those.

I have a BRKT Northstar, it is a beautiful knife and I hope to give it to my son one day. CRK seem more like a lifestyle choice, kind of like apple products.. either you love them or don't see what the fuss is about..

Apples and CRKs are great consumer product, because a consumer doesn't need all the freedom of a modder. Windows/Linux and BKs are a modders product, because we like what we like how we like it.

The 2 was my first Becker, I love that blade so much lol the new coating looks pretty awesome to.

Nice collection you have. I have the same SAK as well as the BK2 (and 5,11, and 15). Get a tweener (15/16/17) or an 1114..you'll thank us some more !
