demands is low because KaBar never made them ;)

for some reason camillus just didn't market Beckers well, especially the "odd ball items" - so of course they didn't sell - imho. it's pretty clear people want them, and are willing to pay stupid prices to get them, even more so since they've been "re-discovered"...

apparently camillus wasn't as forth coming about the sheer numbers of Beckers sold either, as Ethan has reported here a few times he's flabbergasted that anyone even cares - well, look, we've got a forum, so we must! i'm not sure i'm going to believe camillus marketing too much at this point. long live KaBar :)

now, if KaBar did short sprint runs, told us about them ;) AND sold out, i think they'd be more willing to license up with Ethan, and off we'd go. of course, Ethan would have to want to allow some models to rise from the dead, in his copious free time bring new knives forward as well.

Ok, you talked me into it! I will grant you that Camillus might have messed a few things up... ;)

Well, I'll take 2 of the Magnum Camps, I already have a Camillus model, but I'd love some Brutes!
 
I don't have a single Magnum Camp or a Brute Made by Camillus or any other maker. That's why I would buy 3 of each of the above if KaBar would make some. The last MC I saw was on epray with a buy it now only price of $340+. This boy ain't paying that for 1 knife. No way.

Not to rub it in, but it's now got a satin finish, and some new Micarta handles. Sweet blade indeed.

I am going to talk them into bringing back the Magnum Camp. Bladite, think I have a shot at convincing them?

Do you have an idea how much these are going for these days? I've got one I'm thinking of selling, but I do like it quite a bit so if it's under $100 or so I'll probably hold on to it.
