Alright guys, trying to choose between a set of semi-audiophile headphones (specifically KOSS Pro 4AA) or a BK5.
Help me make the right decision.
I have a feeling this will need to include pictures.

On a serious note, if anyone has actually had these headphones, give me your thoughts.

Abd what kind of answers do you expect on the becker knife section of a bladeforum?:p
It's a no brainer, the Becker all the way.

I know. I was just trying to start a photo thread. Mostly.
Haven't seen many 5's lately.

You're posting the question here, sounds like you've made your mind up already. Enjoy the BK5.:very_drunk:

I like beats by dre for headphones. I've had tons of them from Bose to skullcandy to sennheisers and beats well, beat all of them out of the water.

Hi, if you want some great audiophile heaadphones, I suggest getting Beyerdynamic DT990s. Theyre awesome! You'll need a good amplifier to run those though.

Good question actually. I have many hobbies, so splitting my tiny amounts of funding between them can be hard at times :(.

Check out the list of headphones in this link. These guys know what they're talking about. While I know you already have a pair of headphones picked out, you might find something else you like there as well.

For me, its mostly about which one I will use more frequently, and how important it is to me to have it. Meaning, if I don't already have a pair of headphones, then the value I get by buying a pair is huge. But if I already have like 5 pairs, then its less important.

Good luck making your decision :).

Why not have both? Get the 5 and an inexpensive but good pair of ear buds. I have a pair of the MEElectronics M6 In-Ear (with memory wire) headphones. They have excellent reviews and have been compared to Bose products in terms of sound quality and clarity. I personally dont think they are that good but definitely an excellent pair for the sub $20 price tag (i paid 15 last year). I would buy them over and over again, especially considering that they come with a nice case and an assortment of various sized and shaped tips to ensure a proper fit/seal. (which makes all the difference when concerning ear buds) The memory wire is nice too because it wraps around behind your ear and holds the buds comfortably in place. Just my $0.02

Consider also Audio-Technica ATH-M50 at a little higher price . I'm an audio engineer and I have a pair and can't be happier . You can also check out http://www.head-fi.org/t/38369/koss-pro-4aa-review - it's like bladeforums for headphones ;)

I use my headphones every single workday , and one of my Beckers mostly on weekends... I also live in a country where security checks my bag in every public place for weapons , bombs and such . My folded headphones with the coiled cord is always suspicious to the security people , so I can imagine the response to a BK2 in my bag ...

+1 with headfi.org. I frequent there like I frequent here. Became very knowledgable with the audiophile world in a month!

shop smart on the headphones, save money, buy the knife too :>

After doing some research, and reading peoples advice on head-fi, I also picked up a pair of ATH-M50. I'm very impressed with them, I use them every day at work. Great for cancelling out annoying colleagues.
