Figure it's time to cull the herd a bit.
BK&T #5 Magnum Camp- This one has saved my dog, unstuck trucks, made a few campfires, whittled marshmallow sticks, and been an all around boondockin' companion for me. It's been excellently maintained, and lightly modified. I didn't like the smooth handles and the rough blade, so I swapped 'em out. I've removed the coarse black stuff off the blade and put a satin finish on it instead. I also thinned the grips slightly, and sandblasted them. Big improvement I think.
Cold Steel Bushman-ugly as homemade sin, but every bit as functional as it was when brand new. You weren't lookin' at it for a wallhanger anyways, were ya'? Comes with my $8.00 shrink tubed handle for increased homeliness..errr..I mean grip comfort
CRKT M-16-14 1* SRT- It's the big black tanto. It's been carried some, but not used much. Didn't like the Tanto, so I had it made into more of a drop point. I think it was an improvement myself.
Kershaw dive knife- it's the job with the pimpy neon green handles. Used to keep it attached to my PFD, but I've replaced it with a more expendable knife. Overall very clean condition. It was kept as kinda an emergency knife, but never used.
100th Anniversary Old Timer by Schrade- NIB Small Stockman, Comes with Anniversary gift tin, button, and "1904-2004" emblem on the knife.
100th Anniversary Schrade lockback- zytel handle, partially serrated spearpoint blade has Schrade 100th Anniversary logo in the handle. It's new in Package as well.
Schrade 2004 Ducks Unlimited Trapper- this one's puurrrrty. Oak handles, and brass Bolsters NIB
Vntage Case Hawkbill- I believe they say this one was made in 1966 or so. Has some discoloration on the blade and spine, but it's still in very fine condition. Has the brown delrin handles, no logo in handle and "CaseXX on the blade.
In trade my big love affair is currently Himalayan Imports, but I'm open to other options as well. As always I can add or take knives/money/stuff to make a deal go through.
