BK5, what a great knife, well done Ethan, pic heavy

I think it's official now---regardless of the designation, BK15, 16, 17, they will always be known as "the tweeners" to some of us ! LOL BK2 Tweener, BK5 Tweener, Clip point Tweener. LOL

It's an absolutely PERFECT modern "roach belly" and I can't wait to get my paws on one. At least one. Already designing a neck sheath for it.
And thinking up ways to piggybacking one on the sheath of my old BK-5.
And one in the tackle box.
My oh my it is delicious.

A Neck sheath? I could totally see it with one. When I look at the knife it says Fighter to me. Yet I know from using the BK5 how nice it should work in the kitchen. The handle shape and contours look like something off a high dolor custom. The others are cool, but this tweener speeks to me. :) I think Kabar and Ethen have a hit on their hands with this knife!

One for sure I'm going to strip down and patinate, and fit with some handmade ivory micarta. Going for the "frontier tactical" look, which is my style.

Of course it's a fighter. It was designed to cut flesh. People are made of flesh. I think it has a little bit of persian attitude in it also.

I wasn't interested in the tweener 5... but now that I've seen the size comparison, may be tempted.
