Bk6 just came in the mail

On the for sale forum for the MC and yes I would get another one to keep in the closet and one to use. Also need a Machax, Brute, BK9, BK10, BK2 to start with...Ha ha it never stops...
 
I saw that deal thanks to an unnamed vortex of Beckerness.
I passed on it so that someone else could experience the Patrol Machete at a great price.
After seeing Herger's post, I'm glad I did.

BTW, the "Kevin" to whom you spoke owns and operates Bladeforums.
 
Thanks for passing on that deal Guyon, I have been looking for one before I bought my BK7. Thanks for the heads up on Kevin too. Bladite told me the same thing when I asked him some advice on the deal. Kevin was pretty cool considering how anxious I was to buy it, I think he had just as much fun selling it to me as I had buying it...

kevin could have easily flipped these at $150 or more... and so could we :) but i expect better of our Beckerheads... $200 minimum ;) avast! yar!
 
I thought these went pretty cheap, I wonder if the guy in the exchange bought 1 of the 3 and did not like it? One other thing I noticed was the grips were duller then the Ka-Bar BK7 grips, not sure if that is normal but I like how they look and feel. I did get a set of micarta's for it but I really like the stock grips. Now maybe a set of OD micarta's...

Hey Herger, i'm the guy that sold his on the exchange.
I bought mine directly from Kevin, i was out at his shop when they magically appeared :D , there was 4 of them to start with.
As much as i like Becker the 6 just wasn't my cup of tea, i have a Fiddleback 12" machete on the way that i think will serve me better.

I set my price the same as Kevin did because i can't stand people that jack the price of something up just because its been discontinued. Making a little money off of it is fine but tyring to rape someone over it is something different to me. Sorry about my mini rant, headin to Kevins again today to see what else i can find :)
 
No problem, I like your ethics but I'm jealous that you were in Kevin shop getting to see these first :D and get to go back today. I think Kevin passed along a great deal and so did you, if you find any good deals like that ya know, Brute's, Machax etc... pull me to the side ;)

if they find any old stuff like that, i want to know too ;) especially machaxes ;) BK8s... BK12s :> khukris... $50 BK77s... that kinda thing :>

I have saw one thing out there that i am curious about though,Camillus developed a new bayonet for the military that was never adopted right before they went out of business and Kevin has quite a few of them. The thing i dont get though is they all are in the green Becker boxes that Camillus used for there Beckers, anybody got any ideas about that ?

oh, yeah, i think Camillus tried to pull a fast one using the Becker name there :)

find out how much those are, if they're cheap, i'll grab at least one, because if nothing else, they annoy Ethan :) :) :)
 
You gotta admit... Becker Bayonet has a certain ring. :p

Well i just got back from Kevins shop and all we could find Becker wise was one Camillus BK2,NIB with the factory grease still on the edge and two of the bayonets. The label on those boxes were CAM1A1.
Not sure on the price of those Bladite, maybe you'll get a super mod discount :eek:
