This knife has been used in the field on birds and in the kitchen. I've hit it on the sharp maker once and the edge is in great shape. The scales have gaps and after being out a few times I took 0000 steel wool and oil to the tang to remove some surface rust that had developed. The blade is patina'd. I've tried to capture the gaps but it's kinda hard with my photo skills, just know that the fit is not tight to the tang the whole length of the handle. could probably be easily remedied if that's your thing. comes with box, sheath and factory micarta scales. may or may not have a slight bonus onion odor.
