I switched to tinypic.
Might try Flicker... But why do you have to delete part of the code when copying links to the forum ?

Because otherwise it will link the pic to the url location of the pic in your album on flickr

Copy paste the bbcode link, then delete everything before (img) and after (/img) and it should work then

Hey Kentwood. Post up a picture in the thread, then choose edit your post and delete everything but the image. Save changes. Mine was my name the word (by) and about 10 numbers with a _ in the middle. Hope this helps a little.
