Bk7

Guyon, I've had that picture on my iPhone for the past 4 or 5 months, it's what made me want a chestnut fieldmaster lol. I'm waiting on a mossy oak one, because they were out of chestnut and atleast this one had the chestnut trim and front flap. I'm still gonna keep looking for the all chestnut though.

Tried to post this info in a thread about BK7 sheaths . . . turned out that thread was for Becker supplied sheaths only and no chat . . . so gonna' try again. :D

Not long after I got my BK7 I realized the supplied sheath didn't suit me. Looked for a kydex sheath that would put the knife handle just above my belt. After a series of google searches, emailed Survival Sheath (Robert Humelbaugh) and he fixed me up. Took less than a week!

This sheath feels good at my preferred four o'clock position and actually makes the BK7 feel like a smaller knife. Uses a large TecLok to secure the sheath to the belt and give a firm hookup.

The knife is held quite firmly but is easy to get out of the sheath when required. Could be a little quieter but that will come with time as the fit loosens up. Overall, it's a workmanlike job of building a kydex sheath.

At some point, the BK7 might need an ally . . . ;)
