Bk7 ?

Think I am sold on a 7, probably was before starting this thread. As towards the 2 reccomendations I do like it but with Esee, Tops and Entrek blades in that class I really don't need one nor would it get much use.

I like ESEE knives, they are priced higher but do come as a complete setup. Love the Esee6.
But the BK2 is better than the _____?_____ in my opinion, for the money.

I can't decide between the bk7 and the bk9. I want one for my bug out bag. And for general hiking etc. Does someone on this site make the sheaths I see pictures above? they look like a hedge hog but I am not sure.

Again thanks for all the input guys. As the knife gods would have it as I was about to order a new 7, I came across a pimped used one on another forum and she has arrived today. Complete with micarta scales and a kydex sheath as well as the original. Pics to come in a new thread when I get the chance to take her out next week. Expecting alot cooler weather during my week day off.

Hey guys, been away from BF for awhile, mostly hang on the Esee forum. I've reently been drawn towards the BK7. Having a few different models in the size ranges of the other models Becker offers I have almost decided to pull the trigger on one. I was hoping to get some feedback here and maybe some in use pics to help me decide. I do have a short kabar bowie and would like to know how the two compare also if anyone can help. Thanks

My BK7 is the best in the bunch and gets the most backpacking time - well actually, my usual load is the BK7 in the pack and the ESEE-4 on my shoulder strap.
