I like a choil even on larger knives,
Moose I agree though the 5 is perfect with the choil, I couldn't imagine it without.

But I thought you lost some of the strongest cutting part next to the handle where you can really apply pressure when you hav a choil.

It does get your control point closer to the work, and shifts the balance towards the middle of the hand.

Wow, almost seems like Fisk thought of that when he desinged it.
