hey, looking for a large fixed blade, will use it for hiking/general camp knife


saw one on an online store for 42 dollars, NIB never sharpened ettc.... is this a good buy?


they have a patrol machete for the same price, too big for me though
 
That's an excellent price. I'd get it if I was looking for a big blade. Best buy of the bunch as far as big blades are concerned. I have one and it's a keeper.

I have had pretty good luck with ebay sellers who say they won't ship to Canada. Four out of five I asked said sure, as long as I was willing to pony up the extra for shipping. It doesn't hurt to ask them...

Darn, I should have waited until after the auction to post this... ;-)
