I love Beckers. That said, I also love Ontarios. I like the Handle on the SP series knives. They are really comfy in the hand. The Marine Bowie is cool, if you want a Bowie. They are all that and more. I have no doubt that Ontarios are well made.
BK9 is a completely different beast. I think the shape makes it more versatile for camp chores, and the knife is much more customizable to suit your needs. I got rid of mine just due to the length, and went to a BK10, that is in the process of getting its own special style. Fun for me, but not a priority for all folks.
Best idea would be to order both from somewhere like a river website where you can return the one you like less for free...or keep both!
