Because it wasn't a hog lolBK 9 is a great all purpose multi-tool of a knife.
What not make headcheese out of the cow?![]()
Rotten, putrid tripe, no less! Not Tripe!!! Thats what the possums were eating. Im talking bout the possums that were eating the tripe lol
That's a great story thanks Tanker. I can't say I'd particularly fancy eating a bum-burrowing critter like that, however if I'm ever in the U.S. I would be keen to try any traditional native food. I'm pretty sure that many of the delicious hogs I've brought home from a hunt would have been chomping on the rotting remains of their own cousins.
Great idea about replacing Milla. I will act as an agent and send some pics of my clients to the R.E. people. I thought this would be a good mugshot for the adult version:

And if they want to tone things down a bit for younger folks, maybe this would hold some appeal:

Nope.... no armadillos down here. No native land mammals except for a few bats. The critters we mostly see squashed on the road are possums, hedgehogs, rabbits and hares. All introduced to the country.
Those green scales would be ideal for guys like me who are likely to place their '9 on the ground in the dim forest. The black Beckers can almost become invisible. A bright lanyard can help, but the scales let you recognize the knife immediately and they enable you to instantly see which way the knife is lying. Fluorescent flagging tape tied to the handle can be helpful.
