omg, could that photo be any more of a c---tease??!?! HAHA

I've never seen it before, and that large brown folder under the ice scraper looks Dozier-shaped and if it's a new production Dozier folder I might just lose my mind. OMG I hope I hope I hope I hope. And I was JUST thinking that it'd be nice if KA-BAR expanded their line of traditional knives... looks like that may very well be the case. Looks like single blade lockbacks, one maybe a coke bottle shape, jigged bone.

And I don't think the Tweeners and Machax were released late... I think a bunch of us just made wrong assumptions based on being told they'd be "released at SHOT" which actually meant that dealers would be able to start placing orders.

they're Beckers. the price point will always be excellent for what they are as compared to the competition, if there is any :D

you might not LIKE the price, but that's not the point!

sometimes i get asked why we don't get more KaBar support, information, early leads, special deals, and what not... KaBar will announce what they want, when they want - they sometimes tell us mods a few things - often we're not at liberty to pass it along - often we are the last to know ;) Beckerlandia is a very vocal extreme minority as a customer base. i'm sure we amuse them, but we're a fraction of the total market, and they're under no obligation to treat us well, or even listen... that they do s super cool. we need to appreciate that, and thank them. they don't have to. it's a rare thing and abusing it will make it go away. most manufacturers don't even bother - like Apple - when the new iFondle is ready for purchase, they roll it out - no official anything before that - Apple even goes so far as to attempt to suppress such things with legal means. geez :)

Well said, I try to think of being here as more of a privilege than a right. They don't HAVE to tell us anything, whatever they do tell/give us is going above and beyond. We all try to do our part by repping hard and bringing new customers aboard but that does not put Ka-Bar in our pocket to demand anything from. Not that I see that going on in this thread at all, but it has been a minor issue in the past.
