This is a serious knife. It is not as big and heavy but it feels as a serious thing in the hand. And it looks good!

The blade is made of A2 tool steel. tempered to 59-60HRC, cryo treated. Flat ground and mirror polished. It is tapered to the tip.
Tha blade is 5/32" X 7/8" X 4".

The bolster is Nickel Silver and Nickel Silver+Brass laminate. I hand carved the black bear in small "window" and a floral design around it. This is called "obron engraving" wich means that the design is 3-dimentional and the background is recessed. I tried to make the bear portret as accurate as I could. Up to the fur texture.
The bolster is not polished and has a satin finish. That does not hide the carving behind the reflections and speckling.

The handle was sculpted from very nice piece of Claro Walnut with rich marbling. It was stabilized and polished. The handle is 4-1/2" long. Feels very nice in the hand. The complex shape provides excellent grip.

The sheath is hand stiched 9Oz leather. It has the belt loops for vertical or horizontal carry. The leather is treated with balm and polished.

I am asking $625 shipped CONUS via Insured Priority Mail. Pay Pal preferred but I will accept MO or a Personal Check (ship after the check is cleared).
Thank you.

I have a few of Dmitry's knives, and the really sad part is that they look even better in person.

...I say sad because other things, like eating and shelter, start taking a backseat in your mind when you see some of his work for sale. ;)

I have 2 of Dmitry's knives and they are very usable works of art. Thsi knife is almost as nice as his original "Silver Leaf" but the engraving is nicer here.
That bear is marvelous!

Received this today. How can something so beautiful be so useful?? I got the fanciest one, guys, but I guarantee these other two up top are built to the same level, and when you have it in your hand you'll know what I mean. One of the best working-grip handles I've felt.

Thanks Dmitry
