Hey there knife people. I have one of two knives previously posted from my Broken Branch Clay and Steel workshop left.
They were really fun to make and I am proud to offer this one to you. I hope you like it.. it is much lighter than its appearance might indicate
This is a really cool feeling knife in hand and capable of most tasks. The lean flat grind is a slicer for sure. Someone will really enjoy this one!
Knife 2
Black Beauty knife specs
3/16" 1084 steel with professional heat treatment by the Paul Bos shop.
OAL: 10 3/4"
Blade: 5 1/2"
Flat grind with sharpened swedge
Black canvas micarta
Red vulcanized liners
45 micron belt finish
Knife 2 is a dramatically lighter version of its convex cousin. It is a much faster, more agile knife with the slicing advantages of a flat grind. Iat is much a more of a fighter type knife with the sharpened swedge for what I have been told saber duelers call a back cut or back slash. Forward finger choils and jimping help make various grips secure. A kydex sheath with belt clip is provided.
