Didn't want to spend the cash but I have some money coming in so when I saw that national knives has a few paramilitary 2s in stock for a good price I jumped on one. Black on black $117. They also have the satin/black and satin/camo in stock for $106. I had a hard time deciding between black/black and satin/camo. I would like a black/camo eventually but I don't know how I feel about the plain satin blades on these knives, I think the coated ones look better.

It's going to suck waiting for it, I'm so used to using amazon prime and getting free 2 day shipping on everything hah. Oh well. I'm excited! I don't have many knives yet just a selection of 10 folders that I use plus my fixed blades but this will surely be the nicest folder I'll own.
 
Awesome choice! :) I couldn't decide which to order either, so I went with the satin/camo. The next week I ordered black/black! :) I think I like the satin/camo a little more. There's just something missing from the DLC coated ones... I think it's probably the lack of the grind lines, which I find to look amazing on any Spyderco.
 
I have a digi camo with a black blade and ended up trading it. I ended up trading for a black one with a satin blade, I do like it much better. To me the pm2 looks so great with black g10, I'm keeping this one. They are all great though.

Look into pimping it out to pass the time. Hit up Casey for a Black Powder Coat Deep Carry Clip. Get a BEAD3LY or BEAD4LY - these lanyards' gold/tan/black really match well with the black blade and its gold/tan markings. ;)
 
I know what you mean by waiting.

I ordered a S35VN PM2 from Hollow Grind on Sunday and I am checking the UPS tracker three times a day!

They are out now, but I think I did pretty good. Only $142.50 to my door.

I love the black blade but wanted digicam handle instead .. might get one more black/black PM2 but change the scale to something else. white g10 perhaps
 
I ordered a Black/Black from BHQ, yesterday and haven't had an email confirmation that it's shipped yet. Hopefully it will be sent out later today. It was a 100% impulse buy lol.
 
I really liked the blacked out I had... it got gone, but the earth brown is filling in for it nicely.



 
I just spent more money on scales and a backspacer than I did on my PM2. Though I guess I did that with my Pingo, too.
 
Yep, super solid knife. Smooth as silk but lock up is perfect not a single bit of play. The compression lock is really fun, makes closing the knife so quick and easy. The blade doesn't drop free when i press the lock, but I wasn't expecting it to and I don't really feel like I need it to either. Might play around with it after a month or two and see what happens but right now I don't need to adjust anything. Came super sharp of course. Only thing I would personally change is that I would like the knife to be just a tad bit heavier. But that's just me, people like it because it's lite I'm sure. Definitely going to be carrying it every day until I get my sage 3, then it will be 50/50 between those two :). Very happy with it, I'm already trying to figure out which grip/blade color variation I want to buy next. Probably camo/satin unless I can find a sprint run.
 
I have the pm2s I need, one black on black,
And two earth brown, one well used, pictured below, and one New in box, to be a future user, I think now that I have two I may have my abused one dressed up by a pro.
P.s. Good choice OP, the black on black is oh so sexy on the pm2, the blackened hardware is a big plus for me....I just can't bring myself to start wearing on the coating while I have the perfectly good s35vn user though....




The deep carry clip is also a great idea. Got those from a craftsman in the forum!
 
from what I've seen the back coating on the blade holds up exceptionally well. about getting pimped, yeah you better like the knife I'm waiting for my TI Military that i payed through the nose to get pimped.
