Black ceramic knife

It is boron silicate and is slightly harder than the white or alumina silicate ceramic. They have a very close makeup- it is just darker and harder.
 
coldsteel nightshade line is all black and is close to ceramic its grivory i think the knife wont go off in a metal detector anyway
 
The nightshade and all knives in this ilk are made of fiber reinforced nylon. It is no where near anything like a ceramic.
