I have a LOT of knives with all the finished, but at times I could barely afford the less expensive coated models. As things improved so did the variety.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
Lol...but black is are taktikalok see this picture is exactly what i mean, again not judging anyone's taste, but to me this look awful. i would rather not have any black coating at this stage.
Those are good points! If you’re doing a lot of cutting outside (fishing, hunting, feather sticking, carving, etc) I like a coated blade for the anti glare effect. It’s not as visible to animals with a huge glare coming off the blade and it’s not as hard on the eyes if you’re focusing on a cut.
Can someone please post pictures of well used satin and stone wash blades, i would like to compare.
