Just testing the waters like s-o said a few days ago. I just don't want to make anything official until I can have a picture of my boots.
I had some money to buy a new knife, but looks like I'll buy boots instead.
Those are boots I had for 1½ years. I wore them almost every day it was hot enough.
Very similar to Dr Martens models, I kept them in good condition: putting a protector twice a year, polishing them once a weak. They were perfect to me.
BUT
This morning, when I was about to put them, I saw a scratch on it!!!
To me it looks horrible, but my mother says it's nothing. But I'm the kind of guy who take care of his boots and knives (OMG! A spot on the blade, I have to polish it!). The cobbler said I could "hide" it with a lot of polish, but it will never totally disappear.
Those are good boots, I fell very good in them and I'm really frustrated about this, but I like my boots to be perfect.
So if you don't care as much as me about what your boots look like, but you care about comfort (and you have small feets, US size 7
), give me a mail at gothic_fm@hotmail.com
I'm open to anything that is sharp, as long as it's legal in Canada.
