Forged from 52100 steel;
Heat treated in my shop to Rc 58-60 with a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with a forced patina
Black Micarta handle with a wrought iron bolster
Overall length: 10 3/4 inches
Blade:6 inches with a 5 inch cutting edge ( yes, the top edge is sharpened)
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

It's been too long, Gerry---I shouldn't, but I managed to procure all the needed gifts, what's a few extra nights on Campbell's soup? ;)

Thanks! Reminds me of a very similar knife Bob Hankins made me years ago and I had to get rid of---and Gerry's work always looks three times as good in person. :thumbup:
