Black Dragon Forge Karambit

If anyone is on the fence about this Neels makes a really nice knife. I have one of his, great fit and finish. He's well known in SA, but you don't see many of his knives here. Would definitely be interested but unfortunately karambits aren't my thing.

David, if I can chime in here.

Here is a thread on Bohler N690: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/420968-What-is-the-deal-with-N690-steel

As for the maker I know him personally. In fact I commissioned this exact karambit some time back. He is a member of the South African Bladesmithing Association as well as a newly joined Apprentice Smith in the American Blade Smith Society. He will be applying as a Journeyman next year.

He is a excellent maker and gentlemen. You will not go wrong with any of his knives. You can check out some of his work on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NeelsVanDenBergBlackDragonForge?fref=ts as well as https://www.facebook.com/neels.vandenberg
