Black finish on REKATS???

Hey Guys, I'm about to order a PioneerII from
1SKS and I like the looks of the black blade
but how well does it stay on,only asking because most like Spyderco and BM sucks!!

I don't have any Black coated Benchmades, but the coating on my Carnivore seems to have held up well. I don't really have anything to compare it to. I do know that Walter Birdsong is the person who puts the coating on. I don't know if that helps any. If you get a black coated REKAT, let us know how it compares to some of the coatings.

I got a Black pioneer (the old kind). the blade got pretty scratched up with use, but the coating is holding pretty well, no flaking at all.

my MOD coating SUCKS - had good luck w/REKAT and benchmade too by the way - the only 1 i am really unhappy with is the MOD razorback - scratches easier than colt firearms blueing IMHO - and colt stuff scratches easy - not at all like the glock tenifer finish which the REKAT finish reminds me of on my SIFU in WA, lol
