resinguy on 7/28/07: Here is the original Santa's Outlaw Wicked variant. They are ground off SFNO blanks, but have some distal taper, while the SFNO is full thickness most of the length. The distal taper makes the SOW quicker handling, more like a fighter
Jaxx on 11/5/12: Yeah, I know that it doesn't seem to look like it should cost that much...but it really is a sexy variant. A lot of time & effort by the Crew went into these. It has a nice distal taper, a really nice sharp recurve v grind edge, beautiful FFG satin finish, and you can't really see on the flat where the taper begins in the finish. Plus a light swedge, and at the time Red G-10 was not offered much at all outside of the 2 GW's from the Game Warden lineup. Even with all of this into each one, its popularity so far has never took off outside & after the initial offering.... Like the Team Gemini, this is another knife that I loved and praised well before it has yet to increase in popularity... Maybe I should send one of mine to the crew of The Walking Dead!
As stated above this knife is ground from an SFNO blank so it's .220 thick but the blade and OAL is about .25 shorter at 6.75 and 12.5 respectively.
My pair are still wrapped in the paper they came in, only out for pictures 5 years ago. Black Friday Sale!! $647 ea, or $1200 takes the pair. 597 ea
