Black G-10 (1911 content)

I picked up my fifth Ed Brown 1911 last month, specifically a Special Forces Carry with Light Rail. I have become quite fond of Larry Davidson's G-10 grips, and have been very pleased with them on my Springfield EMP and on my pair of Detonics USA CombatMasters. My Bobtailed 1911s have been wearing black AlumaGrips of the "Tactical Checkered" (half smooth, half checkered) variety in slim thickness. I recently asked Larry to craft for me several sets of half smooth, half "Horned Lizard" grips using Black G-10. These grips have the Bobtail cut, and are slim (require slim grip screw bushings to be installed).

I hate you Ken! I have been trying to decide between a regular Kobra Carry, Special Forces, or just a TRS Comanche HC.

I carry a Bobtailed Full size Cobra every time I leave the house.
We have 4 EB's and love them.

Those slabs are great, Ken. Love the Horned Lizard, and I hafta say that Larry is a great guy. If I ever grab another 1911, it will most likely wear Lazzas. :thumbup:
