Gatogordo, I think it's like Johnnymac says, around 60-61. This was the first time I used Peter's, and am very happy with them. They did RC test all blades in the batch to ensure proper hardness - all blades had a dimple in the tang from the test. I didn't ask them for exact numbers for each knife, and don't have a hardness tester myself. But it's on my list:)

Also, re-read my last post about hardness - to clarify, I'm taking PHT's word for the hardness of each knife, but that is the range I discussed with them when I placed my order. Since they went to the effort of testing each blade, I trust that they achieved the desired hardness. BTW, I believe Crucible's aim hardness was 58-61. Peters' is pretty great to deal with, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, even for small numbers of blades.
 
I'm pretty happy with Peters so far. They are easy to work with and have good service and communication. My last three blades that I got back were ATS-34 and I requested anything between 58 and 60 RC, they all came back rated 59/60 so I was pleased. I've heard enough good things about them that I don't think there is any need for further testing. I trust their results.
 
Worst luck, I was doing my 2009 Fed Income taxes and didn't get back to this forum until now. I would have taken it but maybe next time. Very nice knife. Good catch.
