New Graham, & knifecenter has em, and I'm in the middle of trying to finish a BIN for one on ebay, stupid checkout process won't complete.
 
I just saw them today on knifeworks. Good stuff! Had to get a couple and grab another Caly 3 just because...

Is this a limited run, or regular offering?

You lucky dog! Are you going to leave it stock or have it thinned out even more than stock? Tom Krein does great high hollow grinds!

Sorry, I had to quit laughing for about 5 minutes before I could reply to your post. Poor Mr. Krein, he's going to be quite busy with hollow grinding, assuming, of course, he will agree to do this for me. My "normal" Caly 3 and Caly Jr.'s cut so well, I just can't imagine how thinner ones will cut, but I intend to find out...

Tom, your gonna addict everyone to your ultra thin edges. I know I'm addicted! It is kind of funny talking about adding cutting ability to the ZDP Calypso Jr., which kind of has the status of greatest production slicer of all time, but when you get the edge down around .005" or under with a high hollow grind the cutting ability and ease of sharpening just blow your mind. Your perception of what is sharp and what a precision cutter is will be forever changed.

Sodak is the man! First he is nice enough to lend several high dollar knives to test out, then he fronts me a ZDP Caly Jr with a Tom Krein regrind! I love this man! He may be the most generous and trusting man that I've ever (or never?) met! I'll do you right Sodak, and again extra thanks for hooking me up with possibly the ultimate precision cutting folder! I am speechless, and really appreciative. Oh yeah, and after talking to Tom, edge thickness will be .005". Now were talking some thin, great cutting steel right there!

Tom, when I get my Endura ZDP, you think you could give it a full flat grind?
 
I am not excited about this like I thought I would be. It just seems like it has been done before and I will pass on it.

There are too many nice new designs comming from Spyderco in the next few months that have me geared up. The CF and ZDP Caly 3 is what I am excited about. I prefer the Caly 3 to the Jr anyway so I would rather upgrade in the Caly 3 than get another Jr.
 
Sodak and Gunmike1, your knives are all nice and thin now!! Finished them up today and will get them in the mail Tuesday next week.

I really think you guys are going to like these!

Great news, Tom! It was nice to talk to you earlier, I know I'm going to love the knife, and same with Sodak. Team up Spyderco ZDP with a Tom Krein regrind and you are in precision cutting heaven! I can't wait to get it. Thanks again Tom and Sodak.
