Well i've been playing around with this idea for a while and thought it's time to get some feedback from everybody, basically forged for a Fireman's personal carry, but it look's good in Black as well as Red.Forged from 4140 round stock to 9 1/2 inches in length, the Bear Claw spike has been ground to a beveled sharp edge, drawn to a point for piercing and cutting (ruined that 30 gallon barrel now did'nt i),cutting edge is 3 inches and the tooth on the under side of the blade is for dragging smoldering material off site or snagging a rescue line in water.Give me some feedback let me know what you'd like to see different or more of.It's a proto-type so i'm probaly gonna keep it since it's the first of it's kind.Any and all comment's welcome
Steve

It is That's Y i called it the Enforcer, how'd you like to have a Trooper tap on your window with it for a SPEEDIN violation:eek:

I Like It ! Look's more on the Tactical side though, Rather than a Fireman's Tool, Like you say though Fireman's personl carry ? But when SHTF In a Burning Building there gonna grab there 6 # Fireman's Axe, Cutting Hole's In Roof's, Escape route's through Wall's Brick or Wood, I'm gonna E-Mail you something latter "I want you to look at" Keep on Hammering !

I like the looks of this hawk Steve, but I too see it more as a "tactical" tool than a firefighters tool. It is great for "breaking and raking" glass and for any number of assorted chores at car crashes, which I why I have a hawk in my patrol car. I am not a firefighter, and I may not know what I am talking about however. You are dead on as a tactical and rescue type tool....THAT I am familiar with...I like it better than the one I discussed with you via email Steve...

Steve: It looks like your having way too much fun hammering out all these different hawks. Which all look mighty fine I must say. The Enforcer looks great I like the hook on the under side of the blade. Would for sure come in handy at times. I would just add a lanyard to keep it from slipping out of your hands./ Keep on Hammering....

Steve I really like that hawk. It is real close to what I was gonna email ya about in the way of a spike hawk. Size is right as well as long as the weight doesn't get out of hand.

I'd like the bear claw to have a back edge for at least half way but it isn't really neccessary.

By the way I really like the one you made for Joe P. too.

Hey Steve, Question on the Black Handle's, Are you getting that coloration from Wood finishing Oil or stain or Paint ?
