Will a 6 inch blade fit in the Blackhawk? I know some of them have some extra room at the tips.

Just checked it Ken and it looks like it's a pocket that is 5 1/2" deep, 1 1/4" wide and 1/4" thick.
The strap is adjustable velcro type dealy

Is it 6 inches to the screw or 6 inches past the screw to the end of the liner?

Man, I'm glad you asked that again!
I dropped one of those 6" scales in to the pocket,
of course it slipped past that screw at the bottom
SO, my recaluations I'd be safe with a 5 1/2" blade knife!
