Black lines near grind help.

The lines on the grind? Those are the only lines I can see and they don't appear black, and those seem to just be normal manufacturing marks from grinding the blade. Most Ka-bars have those lines under the black coatings but since yours is un-coated you can probably see them better.

Sorry to bother with the same question mate but the manufacturing/grinder mark is the dark line that is pointed out with the arrows in the pic attached? I just paid a lot for this dagger because of the knife tax here and am trying to make sure it is ok, thank you.

Ah, I assumed that was just a shadow in your picture. If that was the line you were talking about I have no idea what may have caused it or if it’s serious, I’ve not really seen that before but I don’t own any stainless kabars.
 
It’s entirely possible it’s just a mark from the edge being power stropped or buffed after sharpening. If it’s from a reputable maker I doubt the edge is burned.
 
Ka-Bar confirmed the mark is from buffing as mentioned by Grayzer86, And not a burn mark thanks for all the replies guys!
