For grins I looked up the part number and it says that we only made a run of 50 of those back in 2004. I am a big fan of micarta also, red, black or grey but my personal preference in handle material is nickle silver. I like the contrast of the black against the NK.

Joe, thanks for the compliment! I agree that nickel would look great with the black micarta.....but the brass is not too bad.....and I really didn't have that choice. The polished blade really sets it off also. Of course Buck could always make more. I'm sure there would be many willing buyers.
