This knife has been withdrawn - going back in the safe for now
I'm not sure how to categorize this knife. This was one of those times at the grinder where I started grinding with one design in mind but somewhere along the way I changed my mind and ended up with something totally unexpected! I guess you could call it Knife Grinding ADD. Whatever it is, I like the way this one turned out.
It has the potential to be used as an EDC or low profiled self defense knife. It would also make a great small game blade or light weight field knife.
As you can see in the photo's, this knife has a small swedge. The swedge is not sharpened. This blade comes shaving sharp ready to get to work!
The specs are as follows:
Steel: 1/8" Aldo's 1084
Hardware: six 1/8" Stainless Steel Pins
Handles: Black Canvas Micarta with Red G10 liners
Blade: 3 5/8" tip to front of scales with about 3 1/4" edge
OAL: 7 3/4"
Comes with a custom Black leather sheath handmade by myself.
