Hello again, Today I have a forged chopper to offer. The blade is made from 80CRV2 and features a recurve, forged fuller, false raised clip, flat to convex ground bevel, and a forge texture plus cold bluing finish. The blade was heat treated by me in my knife kiln. This knife comes with a knife case from ace cases (no sheath)

What is your targeted hardness with your heat treat???? Do you test them or Have you tested the HRC???

The target is 60HRC. I don't have a hardness tester to confirm though, which is why I don't include hardness in my posts. Instead I test each knife by chopping, inspecting the edge, re-sharpening if there's any chipping or rolling from decarb, and then chopping some more.
