Black on Black

Lastdaze, how do you like that LD20? I EDC a LD10+ and have been looking for something a little bigger. Not sure if I want to stick with an AA light or goto C123's though.

I've had it a year and like it a lot, does what I need.. I like the AA's for their versatility, not sure how long c123 run or cost compared to the AA's..

Sorry to interrupt the blackly goodness, but here's some cool olivey drabness. :p

kel tec's cs is superior no worries there..

I was going to buy a pf9 couple years ago, still may etc..

has anyone a Diamond Back 380?? was going to nab one couple years ago when they first came out, but ... I was waiting to see how it went with a new company..

so, i spoke with a KelTec rep - seems my serial numbers are well into the mature area, no worries or dangers...

any issues were with the very first couple hundred, and they've addressed them.

more than good enough for me.

Good news Bladeite,i will have to check my#'s out.On mine there is a space
between the slide and the bottom section toward the barrel .I might send
it in to have that tightended up.

if you have a letter in the middle, you're probably okay too.

they told me that you can solve that one by gently clamping the slide at the muzzle end to the lower, and hit it with a hair drying all around for a while, and let it cool. unclear to me why that is, but it's also not going to hurt it otherwise.

now i'm thinking 5.7 :)

As soon as KT figures out the magazine and can make a PMR 30 in 22LR, I am all over it.

Not an FN fan. Big expensive ugly gun that shoots an over rated uncommon bullet. The only advantage I see with this round over the 5mm Rem Mag and 22 Mag is the ability to reload ammo, which gets you closer to the original intended round. The commercial ammo is nothing special.

I'll take 18 9mm's over 30 5.7's any day.

it's mostly about the funnnnnnn, but there's some practical nature for 5.7 for some people. rifle velocity, and increased distance, which some people could exploit. it's different, that's GOOD!

a folded PTR-91 with a 30 round magazine beats a 9mm... just depends on what you mean by beat :)

Here is something I have been working on.

I made a holster for my XD40, and I wanted to use this Fobus Drop Leg rig that I bought at a gun show for a couple bucks. Quite the deal when they run like $40 last time I checked. It had a left handed Beretta holster that was cut out to fit a barrel compensator. So I cut through the old holster and drill out the rivets on the Roto component of the holster. I modified it a bit and fitted it to the leather holster...

I figured it would be something fun to play with at the range. :D It actually pivots quite well on the paddle mount. I still need to order the standard paddle so I can mount it on my hip.
