Black or Tiger Stripe Zero Tolerance 0350?

Black hands down.

I own a all black 0350 and love it.

I don't hate the Tiger Stripe but just prefer the black way more.

It's all about your personal preference though, not ours.

I have had the tiger stripe 0301 for about a year now and I have to say it looks way better in your hands than the pictures.

This!
Seriously, I'm not a flashy guy whatsoever and I've always thought the TS looked "too cool for school". I finally bought a ZT0301 and man, I couldnt have been more wrong. The tiger striping is very nice - A lot more classy than I would have imagined.

I pre-orderd a ZT0360.SKD last week and struggled with getting the black or TS - I said to heck with it, I have so many black blades, I may as well get the TS - If I don't like it, I can always try and get a black one. I'm very glad I did now.

I have the 0350TS and it looks great. It was between that and the satin for me, though. Never been much of a fan of black blades.

Tiger Stripe is the only coated blade I will willingly choose over uncoated.

Tigerstripe.

I always prefer uncoated, but after seeing a striped 0301 in person I can say those stripes are nicer than they look. Black blades are a dime a dozen. If you want coated try the stripes!

Yea I say tiger stripe too. Really just makes the whole package stand out. You can get black from any ole' place and there is nothing wrong with black, just not as eye-catching.

I got a tiger stripe blem for $85 from kershawguy.com but the price on those went up $10 so if I were to buy another I'd get a black.

Tiger stripe screams Mall Ninja. Just sayin.

Tiger stripe screams Mall Ninja. Just sayin.

TS oozes cheese appeal - when I think of tiger stripes, I think of cheap crap m-tech knives with cheap crap coatings that aren't worth a crap...

Slap it on a Strider, and it looks in place (just an example, not setting a standard, nor is it the best example). Put it on a cheap knife, and it looks cheap and cheesy. Not that the 0350 is a cheap (in quality) knife, but lets not pretend it is something greater than it is. TS on a cheap knife to me is like putting a ginormous spoiler on a crappy car. "Hey everybody (who doesn't know what they're looking at), look at how bad-a$$ my ______ is!"

If you don't know knives, any knife with a cool looking coating is going to look, well, cool. If you know knives, you (shouldn't) be so easily fooled. TS has its place; when you're murkin' in the jungle.

With that being said, I too agree with the previously posted scientific data about TS making for a sharper edge. It is also statistically proven that it drastically helps with edge retention, lowers drag coefficient, increases MPG, and makes pre-pubescent boys hard on sight.

Get one in any finish you want, because it won't matter one bit once you use it and that coating looks like isht anyhow!

For what it counts, I have three 0350s in black.

I just won the 0350TS giveaway so I'll see what I think real soon. I am generally a small to mid size knife guy and usually like 'em plain but I figure if I am totin' a pretty big chunk of knife it might as well be decked out! I'm way too old to be worried about being called a Mall Ninja.. :D
