Black Paper Pre-orders/orders....

I figured but the black looks similar as far as material so i wasn't sure. Im sure i will like it either way.

Black paper is different in a lot of ways. It is lighter in weight, buttery smooth to the touch and absorbs water and other liquids like canvas micarta. It is more "fragile" than g-10 or canvas micarta but that is only an issue if you plan on using the slabs for a hammer. It is one of my favorite handle materials and one of the big reasons I had to order another RMD.

Hi Eric, is this why my preauthorization got dropped from my credit card bill? will I need to repay it once the knives are ready? I sent you an email this morn... I really don't want to miss out on the rats :S

Hope what you say is true. What is the difference in the composition of the paper v/s regular g-10?
 
I got my email saying that my black paper HRLM is ready, yesterday, I paid, and Eric said it would ship today. I'm guessing that they're caught up on the BP slabs.
 
A lot of Black Paper orders will be shipping by the end of the week. More by the first of next week. Some have already shipped.

Is there an update as to when the BP blades will be shipping? I can feel my wallet sweating in the other room.
